11. Vaiaku

A village situated on the southern shore of the island of Fongafale, Vaiaku is in the atoll of Funafuti in Tuvalu. There is 516 residences in Vaiaku, according to the survey of 2002, out of 4,492 for the total atoll of Funafuti, which is the formal epicenter of Tuvalu. All the governmental edifices, incorporating the National Bank of Tuvalu, and the sole hotel of Tuvalu, Vaiaku Langi Hotel, are situated in Vaiaku. 13. Niulakita

A reef islet Niutao is in the northern portion of Tuvalu. It is one of the nine territories of Tuvalu. It is also one of the three territories that contain just a single island – not including the three islets inside the closed lagoon. Niutao has a community of 606 people.

This  is an islet eighteen kilometers west of Fongafale, in the northwest of Funafuti, the chief atoll of Tuvalu. The name Tepuka derived from a tree named Te puka, or Pouka- Hernandia peltata.

17. Tepuka Vili vili

Tepuka Vili Vili or Tepuka Savilivili is an island of Funafuti, Tuvalu. Tepuka Vili Vili is a portion of the Funafuti Conservation Area, founded in 1996 with the intention of conserving the natural plants and animals of the region.

18. Savave

It is a tiny island of Nukufetau, Tuvalu, which is on the lagoon side of Fale island. It has also a little village named the same on the island.

19. Lakena

It  is a tiny island of Nanumea atoll, Tuvalu. Nanumean conventions narrate Lakena as being established when sand overflowed from the baskets of two women, Pai and Vau, when they were pushed off Nanumea by Tefolaha, the Tongan fighter who became the predecessor of the people of Nanumea.

This is a small island of Funafuti, Tuvalu on which the Tuvalu Maritime Training Institute is situated. Entry to Amatuku is from Tengako, which is the promontory at the north tip of Fongafale islet.
